Total Health Trust (THT) proudly stood among West Africa's brightest innovators at the 2025 West Africa Innovation Awards—an event dedicated to celebrating outstanding entrepreneurship and innovation across the region. The awards spotlight impactful work in sectors like technology, finance, manufacturing, and sustainable practices, with a goal to drive economic growth, foster cross-border collaboration, and uplift solutions addressing Africa’s unique challenges.
Representing THT at the prestigious event were our Managing Director, Tonye Ukpong, and Head of Commercial, Joy Gonji.
A highlight of the ceremony was the CEO Share Experience Session, delivered by our MD, Tonye Ukpong. In a heartfelt and authentic speech, she shared the incredible journey and ongoing mission of Total Health Trust in the healthcare space.

Tonye also emphasized the global healthcare access that THT members enjoy through its international affiliations. These partnerships enable clients to access top-tier medical care across countries such as India, the UAE, Turkey, and beyond, offering peace of mind and world-class support when it matters most.
The event attracted professionals from diverse industries, including Power, Insurance, Banking, and Construction, making it a dynamic platform for cross-sector exchange and collaboration.
A notable segment of the event was the Brand Health Session, where pressing issues affecting key sectors such as Power and Insurance were openly discussed. The session provided an opportunity for industry leaders to share insights, tackle challenges, and explore innovative solutions to improve brand perception, customer trust, and service delivery across sectors.
The evening culminated in a moment of pride as THT was honoured with the Customer Service Excellence Award—a reflection of our unwavering commitment to putting members first and delivering top-notch service at every touchpoint.
